PETE BEACH, FLA. — A total of 228 adverse events associated with the use of citalopram (Celexa) during pregnancy has been reported to the Food and Drug Administration’s Adverse Event Reporting System since the drug’s approval in 1998, J. Edward Fisher, Jr., Ph.D., reported at the annual meeting of the Teratology Society.
